Orchestra begins on 9/24 and Band begins on 9/25!  Kids should be at school by 8:00am.

 

If your student needs a ride to morning rehearsals, or you are able to drive students, please complete the MRMS Music Carpool Sign Up. We will share responses with all those who completed the form and families can follow up/reach out if there is a good fit!

We are thrilled to kick off this school year by introducing our new band director, Mr. Bly. With a wealth of experience and a passion for music, Mr. Bly is set to bring a fresh and exciting energy to our band program. His expertise will guide us through a year of incredible musical growth and memorable performances.

Let's give a warm welcome to Mr. Bly and show him how excited we are to have him as part of our school community. Here’s to a fantastic year of music, learning, and fun!

9/6/24 Wednesday - General Booster/ ICE CREAM SOCIAL/Uniform meeting at MRMS cafe 7 PM FOR ALL PARENTS

Morning Rehearsals Start at 8AM

9/9/24 Monday - Flutes Only

9/10/24 Tuesday - Violins Only

9/11/24 Wednesday  - Clarinets/ Bass Clarinet Only

9/12/24 Thursday - Violas Only

9/16/24 Monday - All Saxophones Only

9/17/24 Tuesday - Trumpets Only

9/18/24 Wednesday - Cellos and String Bass Only

9/19/24 Thursday - French Horns/Trombones/Baritones/Tubas Only

9/24/24 Tuesday  - String Orchestra Rehearsal - 8:05AM

9/25/24 Wednesday - Concert Band Rehearsal - 8:05AM

Regular Rehearsal schedule for the year will be as follows: 

• Concert Band - Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8:05AM

• Orchestra - Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:05AM

• Jazz Band - Tuesday after school -STARTING DATE TBD

• Percussion Ensemble before school - STARTING DATE TBD
